Tucson Information

Billions of stars against a velvet sky. Millennia of Native American history before the Spanish arrived, glimpsed in rock art and enduring in language, art, and music. "The Dove of the Desert," San Xavier del Bac, the iconic white church begun by Father Eusebio Francisco Kino in 1700--and still one of the finest examples of Spanish Colonial architecture in the United States. Unique museums and galleries, from the International Yoyo Museum to the massive Tucson Museum of Art, with a collection that spans six centuries. World-class cuisine, from hole-in-the-wall taco stands to elegant restaurants. Golf courses that are not to be missed, if you can extend your stay to play a round or two.

And all of this, of course, in addition to the concerts, workshops, presentations, and exhibits of the Southern Arizona Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
